[FIXED] Nautilus doesn't open anymore

Update 30-09-2019 Just type:

$ tracker reset -e
source: Ask Ubuntu at Stack Exchange



Try:


sudo apt install --fix-broken

sudo apt remove --purge gnome-documents tracker

sudo apt autoremove


Then:


sudo apt install --reinstall nautilus*

sudo apt install gnome-documents tracker


After rebooting, run Nautilus, maybe the first time you need to wait 20 seconds because it seems the system is reindexing all. I got this problem while upgradig from Debian 9.3 to Debian 10 (buster) by accident closed the laptop (!) and login to Gnome Wayland.

PD. Before to run Nautilus:  xhost +local:
