Acer Aspire running Fedora here, but Samsung computing support done the job! That's right: Fn+F11 solved the problem. I want to tell you that is not obvious (accidentally hit Num Lock before putting away the computer): laptop has case broken and something does not make contact ( almost backup everything and take a screwdriver to open ).
